Madame Butterfly

Design the Touch Studio, 2023

A seating collection inspired by the shape of butterfly wings, from which the back design originates: a single, soft, undivided element offering comfort and support.

Madame Butterfly is a collection consisting of two-seat sofa, three-seat sofa and armchair.
The rounded, delicate and comfortable shape that seamlessly includes the seat, the arms and the back, accommodates your body and makes you feel safe. Softness is emphasised by an anodic bronze finished tubular pipe enclosing and delimiting the outer part of the back and the arms; a marked detail of great elegance, harmony and decorative effect.
Fully removable fabric or leather upholstery.
Behind the Pierre oval coffee table in Desert Rock T029 stands the Madame Butterfly sofa framed by an artistic backdrop. The upholstery in Paul 0907 walnut-colored fabric is visually enlivened by decorative cushions in Fabian 0851 and Adam 0840 fabrics.
In the foreground, the curve of the Madame Butterfly sofa's backrest is wrapped in the elegant Anodic Bronze T010 finish painted metal band that emphasizes its silhouette. The Paul 0907 walnut-colored upholstery fabric reinforces the balance between softness and sartorial rigor.
Side framing enhances the rounded armrest of the Madame Butterfly sofa. The contrast between the striped Fabian 0851 cushion and the red Adam 0840 cushion enlivens the restraint of the walnut-colored Paul 0907 upholstery, recalling the hues of the rug below.
The Madame Butterfly armchair, upholstered in Adam 0840 fabric, comes in a vibrant brick-red hue. Its flowing curves stand out in natural light, while the painted metal detail in Anodic Bronze T010 finish firmly defines the line of the backrest. The color contrast creates a warm, contemporary balance.
In a living environment with a contemporary, collected feel, the Madame Butterfly two-seater sofa stands out for its soft, compact lines. Upholstery in Morgan 0903 fabric, in a delicate shade of blue, embraces the curved frame, lending a sense of visual comfort. The seat profile is defined by a burnished metal side band that enhances the sofa's tailored aesthetic. Opposite, a 45-cm round Pierre coffee table in Desert Rock T029 finish adds a textural and functional touch, with a glass cup and bell as the only decorative elements. The dark back wall houses two overlapping floral paintings, while an iron staircase with a glass railing introduces architectural depth to the scene, in a refined balance between rigor and softness.
Even in the two-seater version, the volumes of the Madame Butterfly sofa are full and voluptuous, elegant and timeless. The tubular metal backrest is a stylistic sign of great decorative effect and matches perfectly with the other metal furnishing accessories.
The Morgan 0903 upholstery of the Madame Butterfly sofa enhances the blue textural texture. A decorative burnished metal band elegantly crosses the backrest, highlighting its enveloping curvature.
In the foreground, the round Pierre coffee table in Desert Rock finish accommodates essential objects: a glass bell with a small sculpture, a cup and saucer. The curved base in burnished metal adds rhythm to the composition.
